Gingeronstun
Hi all. I've been picking up bits for my Scout Trooper build here and there over the last year or so, but am only just making real headway thanks to the generous help of Mandalorean (and our other halves who are demons with stitch unpickers!). I've got pretty much all of the parts now (just need to sort the boots), so it's just a case of putting them all together and applying the finishing touches! Here's what I've got so far, all except the gloves which are elsewhere and the flak vest and undersuit which are currently being worked on. https://www.dropbox....Trooper%20Build I'm hoping to sort the complete suit first and then will start tweaking where required.
Chex
Looks good. The only issue you might have is with your bund. The bottom part of looks way too long. Would be better to see it on with the belt.
Gingeronstun
Thought I'd put up[ some picks of the suit so far on. Was a right pain keeping the arm pieces in place as I haven't added Velcro to the suit yet as it needs taking in I think. Still left to do: Body Suit - Take in an inch or so all over - Remove Pockets - Add leg elastic, riding patch and seat flap - Add Velcro to arms to secure armour - Add press studs to cummerbund to keep in place Other - Add clips to TD holder - Make the boots - Finish bucket - Finish Pistol
M.J
eddy looking good......just a couple of things your front chest piece needs to be brought down and even with our back plate.... this will stop the cummberbun from showing and it wont look that tad small, ( know you going to use studs) brings your neck line down its too high up. Your cummberbun pockets are a little high they need to be resting on the belt
