Lancer-Approved White Straps/Webbing?

I'm one of those guys that's going all-white for my scout. None of that 'off-white' or 'natural' stuff for me.

 

So when MC's armor kit arrived, one of the first things I did was bleach the 1.5" thigh box strapping, and after a couple of tries, I was able to get it one shade away (as a matter of fact, the closest thread color I could find was called 'Winter White') from what I want.

 

I've sent MC a note to see if his supplier carries any of that strapping, but in white. He's checking.

 

In the meantime, the closest thing I could find was this:

 

 

Although the picture doesn't show it very well, it is indeed the whitest white there is.

 

Here is the MC strapping, bleached, next to the one above, on a sheet of typing paper, with a flash:

Notice that the weave on the MC stuff is less pronounced.

 

My question is: is the strap in the top picture acceptable for Lancer? And if not, has anyone found a source for acceptable WHITE 1.5" cotton webbing?

I don't see why it wouldn't be, as I have that weave of white cotton strapping.

That's fine mate, it's cotton so alls good, it's the nylon type if stuff which isn't really any good
