Army Scout
Well I have deceided to come back to the 501st! I was gonna do a Beehive trooper, but then thought to myself...."I cant leave my Scout's!!!" So instead, I will be ramping up a BARC trooper kit. The reference gallery will be up soon and I see some have already started on the armor. If you plan on doing a BARC, lets put our heads together and get er' done! Stand by for plenty of post on this in the near future. Army Scout

iTrooper
God I would love to be a BARC, especially when 2 of my other troopers are a Commander Bly and a Commander Gree, a BARC would simply be awesome. (Yes, clones are few and far between down here in Australia)

iTrooper
We're going to coordinate something with CloneTroopers.Net, so that if someone clicks on BARC Trooper catagory or something of that nature, it can be forward here. In the end, it will be consolidated to BikerScout.Net instead of having 2 BARC discussion areas between the two sites.

Guest Immortal Goat
Awesome news! I would LOOOOOVE to do a BARC someday, so I can't wait to see what the creative minds on this and other boards are able to come up with to bring this entirely CG character into the real world! dogface5307
First post on a new board from an old Scout. I have a question regarding the BARC project, and I posted this on the old board, so, here goes; at the risk of sounding like a pompass protocol droid, I thought that 'BARC' was the toy, and the '41st Elite' were Yoda's Troops on Kashyyk? I didn't even see one of these troops on a speeder bike on Kashyyk. I saw one on Utapau, but he was different, more like a fully armored Clone. Just curious, plus, Wikipedia does the breakdown on the 41st Elite and how they are a subdivision of the 9th Assault Corps, 501st Legion. Again, not trying to step on any toes... Hasbro went with the Clone Scout with the BARC Speeder and the name stuc. So for simplicity, we're just sticking with BARC trooper. But you are correct, the "BARC" troopers are 41st Elite assigned to Commander Gree under Yoda. The Clone Scouts did NOT even ride the bike. *sigh* But the general public won't know that. Just us anal-retentive costumers.
