caaw Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 Hi folks need some advice i have a KS helmet and some trooperdude decals to put on and renew the old ones. My question is how do i apply the deacls do they self stick namely the fish hook. looks like its on backing paper. Also i have a new nose piece from dJ in the Uk but the nose isnt the full grey oval it ends at the line so its just the rectangle. With the mic tip. Will this pass muster? Quote
EnigmaEngine Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 While I can't say I've applied decals to a helmet, I assume it works just like the 501st ones I've applied to my car. Make sure the surface is clean and dry. Apply the decal with the paper backing, smoothing it flat. Leave it on, backing and all, for 12-24 hours. Slowly peel off the backing; the decal should remain in place. Quote

scout.trooper Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 My replacement fish hook was a grey vinyl sticker. Peel off the protective plastic then place it sticky side down with the paper side facing you. Give it a good press and rub then pull the paper off. Ta da! Quote
