stuf123 Posted October 13, 2014 Author Posted October 13, 2014 Helmet is now assembled and wearable. Tomorrow night I paint the front and attach the snout and chin strap. 1
Guest TKAQUA1969 Posted October 15, 2014 Posted October 15, 2014 That's looking great! What black suit did you purchase? A racing suit or a flight suit?

Guest TKAQUA1969 Posted October 16, 2014 Posted October 16, 2014 Thanks, iRawr (Mark). I just built my SC bucket and I'm now in the process of doing my armor. It's my first build ever and it's rather intimidating….(I'm a bit of a novice with tools as well) but I'm doing it!! I'm not sure if I'm going to go with a flight suit or racing suit. Feel free to offer your opinion on the matter. I'm female and I'm wondering if I should get a two piece even….IDK. Decisions…decisions. Have a great day!
stuf123 Posted October 17, 2014 Author Posted October 17, 2014 Cucblack did indeed make my flight suit. It is made-to-order and fits like a dream. And the quality is outstanding. It did get caught in customs for a lot longer than I thought, but that is by no means his fault. I have seen a few people do a two piece, but I am trying to be as authentic as possible. 2
stuf123 Posted October 31, 2014 Author Posted October 31, 2014 Sorry for the lack of updates, but I have been busy trying to finish my build and work on my son's Luke costume. After many sleepless nights, we made our debut today... I have some more things I need to work on after wearing it for a bit. But all and all I am happy with the results. 2
cucblack Posted October 31, 2014 Posted October 31, 2014 Great Job and great SW family pic Steve. Congratulations!!!
stuf123 Posted November 26, 2014 Author Posted November 26, 2014 Took the armor out to the first Reno Comic Con. I was able to get the holster mounted and the blaster magnets done before I went and it worked GREAT!!! And here is a shot of the whole family. A few little fixes I want to work in and a couple pieces of Velcro and I will be submitting my 501st application. My thanks to everyone that helped me out along the way! And yes, I did notice that my knee pads were upside down after a few minutes of walking around. I had to find an empty part of the convention and fix it.
