Well, impulse bought some to kick off my build. Ordered the large last week and they arrived today. Will add to the list: order a size up. I wear a medium but got the large and they fit perfect!

Has anybody had any success taking the lining out of their wampa gloves. Man they are hot this time of year.

It was very easy to take the lining out of mine. And it made them so much more comfortable.

I guess its my construction career but the lining doesn't bother me. Its hot in Louisiana but I find the midsection under the cummerbund is the hottest on me and in winter the thick gloves are nice

Man, everyone's getting their gloves. I as well bought mine from wampawear but we're supposed to be here yesterday. I checked the usps tracking website with the tracking number they gave me. Expected delivery time was supposed to be yesterday, the 10th, and it says it has already left Colorado but nothing after that saying it is in Maine. :-(

He's a busy man but does good business. *waves hand* They'll get there and you will be pleased.

How hard is it to take out the liner?

I didn't take mine out. Its not so hot with the liner in. Even if we are having 100+ degree weather here in Louisiana. Most events are inside with heating and air. There have been a few hot outdoor troops where I've poured sweat out my gloves. For the most part if you're not used to gloves I can see how you maybe clumsy with the liners in. I wanna say you're with bast alpha garrison too, we can meet up sometime so you can try mine on. My next event is geek'd con in Shreveport.

I love my Wampa wear gloves.

I heard some people remove the padding from the inside so they're cooler. I'm concerned about messing up the gloves. Anyone know how to do it?

Thank you. I think I can take out the lining now.

I noticed that you were already reading that topic when I was copying the URL (Curse my metal body! I wasn't fast enough!), but I thought I would post the link for anyone else reading here anyway.

Do they make them in a bigger size than L? Based on what I have read in the threads they say you should order a size up, but if you take the lining out doesn't that give you a bit more room? Thanks!!

Just how big are your hands, Hil?!?

These will cost me 71$. (Dang shipping ) my size shows M. I'm guessing I should order L after reading the forum posts.

I actually have a pair of L and XL from Wampa. The L is snug on me, but very comfortable and HOT.

If it's a hot troop, I bust out the XL for a little breathing room. My XL also seems to have a slightly different lining than the L.

Yeah, mine are a little snug, but I got tiny hands so going up a size would suck. However, they are a lot more comfy that I thought they would be.

I got mine in last week. These are great! Little snug, but thats how i want them. Ordered a Large. I'm sure they'll get hot in the warmer months.

I can report that now I have a couple of troops under my belt, the gloves have stretched slightly as suspected and now don't feel so restrictive.

Just saw on FB that WW have got some gloves in stock yesterday.

Better get yours while they are available.

Anybody else have around 10.5 inch(26.67 cm) hands that has these? Is XL good? I've heard they run a little small.

On their site, they do carry XXL.

Good luck.
