I used the measuring graph on the Wampa Wear site and was torn between L and XL. I like my gloves tight, baggy gloves were never my style. I'm glad that I went with the XL in the end - those are even a bit tight for my taste. If you have any doubt about sizing, go at least one larger, maybe even two! The gloves look great, I'm impressed!

I have to chime in because I got my gloves recently. On Wampa's glove sizing chart I should have been an L, but got an XL because I heard they ran tight.

Definitely go with a size larger than the chart says you should be. It's snug, but more in a perfectly snug way rather than a tight, restrictive snug.

WW gloves were my first purchase towards my Scout outfit. I purchased large based on their sizing chart. They fit a bit on the snug side, but Inknow that XL would have been slightly loose. Besides, I fully expect the gloves to stretch a bit and by the they'll be perfect.

I have just received these gloves a few days ago myself. Fit and finish I have no complaints. Comparing with my regular pair of motorcycle gloves the Biker scout gloves are made with about the same thickness leather and have thicker insulation. I have been wearing them in the evenings on my motorcycle and I would have no problems wearing these regularly in fall and early winter temps. I will probably keep them as is until I start trooping and find the lining to be too hot.

Overall I would mark these gloves a good value as my motorcycle gloves were 15-20$ more with the only difference being that my motorcycle gloves have knuckle armor and aren't full gauntlet meaning less leather.

As for sizing, the wampa wear site has a sizing chart. My hand measures 8" using the tape measure method pulled tight which is a size S. But the graphic sizing chart they have places me at a size M. I went with a size M and the fit is perfect.

Carl, I would check the sizing chart on their website and go with the larger of the two methods. Even if it were a little tight, the leather will break in and you would probably end up removing the lining anyway due to heat issues.

Looking to place an order this week. I saw their size chart and according to that i'm 8 1/8" (a hair over 8). Do you recommend the Medium than in your experience? Going with the small and pulling out the lining does intrigue me a bit as i live in Vegas. (heat issues)

This question is open to anyone who has them btw. Thanks in advance!

I just received my WW gloves. I normally wear a XXL and these feel more like a L? I am going to have to cut out the excessive padding in the gloves to make them fit. No complaints about the quality of the gloves, they are a nice pair, but they really need to consider updating the sizing of these gloves?

I picked up a pair of SA gloves off another member in an XL and they fit like a XL. So atleast I will have one pair that fits properly...

Anyone know how I can get a medium sized pair of these? How often do they restock?

Also is the Wampa Wear site safe to order from? It has to be one of the worst designed sites ever, looks like it's just showing the site folder contents and isn't a real web page.

They restock fairly regularly. If you're on Facebook, "like" their page. They always post when they get items back in stock. I've always ordered my gloves via their Amazon store, but I did order some vinyl cogs from their odd website without issue (but I use a prepaid debit card for online stuff).

Yeah don't have a Facebook account which seems to limit me on a lot of sellers around here unfortunately. I'll just keep checking on their page and their Ebay (though Ebay costs more to Canada than their own site.)

Their website is pretty... basic, but I ordered from there a few months ago and haven't had any problems in terms of receiving the gloves or any dodgy stuff on my bank account.

Also: I ordered Medium gloves, so they definitely restock those; seems like you just hit a bad window.
