I ordered some from their website on Friday and got them in the mail yesterday. They look great and seem good quality. Only a slight problem in that they are a little tight, but I chalk that up to my fault for not measuring prior to ordering. I usually wear a large in gloves, but these will still work once I wear them a bit. I can still make a fist so I am not too worried.

Just got mine and they're pretty tight as well, i'm wondering if they'll fit better if I remove the insulation.

Hate to necropost, but I got these gloves as well and they seem a bit small. Other than that they are great, but maybe advise anybody who buys these in the future to go up a size just to be safe.

They are a bit smaller i ordered and XL and they fit great. I looked at lancer standards and it seems to meet all of the criteria besides the little clips on the side which is easily cut off.

These clips.

The "zipper cut out"

The pocket with zipper hidden for cash, credit cards or whatever. its about 4inches by 4inches.

The top of the gloves with V cut out and 4 ribs on knuckles and the swede on the fingers.

The bottem of them the thumb has the swede as well.

Hope this helps all!

I am thinking I'll snag a pair myself. I didn't see a size guide on the page, however... seeing that they run smallish, do my scout peers feel I should play it safe and snag an 'XL' pair?

I have just received these gloves a few days ago myself. Fit and finish I have no complaints. Comparing with my regular pair of motorcycle gloves the Biker scout gloves are made with about the same thickness leather and have thicker insulation. I have been wearing them in the evenings on my motorcycle and I would have no problems wearing these regularly in fall and early winter temps. I will probably keep them as is until I start trooping and find the lining to be too hot.

Overall I would mark these gloves a good value as my motorcycle gloves were 15-20$ more with the only difference being that my motorcycle gloves have knuckle armor and aren't full gauntlet meaning less leather.

As for sizing, the wampa wear site has a sizing chart. My hand measures 8" using the tape measure method pulled tight which is a size S. But the graphic sizing chart they have places me at a size M. I went with a size M and the fit is perfect.

Carl, I would check the sizing chart on their website and go with the larger of the two methods. Even if it were a little tight, the leather will break in and you would probably end up removing the lining anyway due to heat issues.

Appreciate the tip!

I too want to thank you for the heads up on sizing. I normally wear a size Large but went with the XL and they fit perfectly

Mine are in transit. Now I'm worried they'll be too small, even though I went with their sizing chart.

And here they are... Size M (based on their chart) they are snug but not tight. I think a larger size might be a little loose in some directions but to anyone dithering between two sizes, I'd say choose the upper rather than the lower.

The first piece of my costume, too!

As with all leather wear, I would have thought they will give a little as you wear them mate

For TIE/Scout cross over folks ...

How similar is the WW fitting between the TIE gloves and the Scout?

If the scout is any smaller, I will need to go up a size on mine.

If the fit is the same, I'll get the same size.

The sizing chart is for both gloves. So I assume the sizing is the same for both gloves.

Scout gloves have liner in. They call it 'Playboy liner". So a little tight.

Tie gloves do have liner too - only have cotton liner.

So go a size bigger for the scout gloves.

I have both.

I just received mine today. I took the liner out since I am in Florida. Fit and feel are great and they got here fast. These gloves get my recommendation.

winterg, how is the sizing without the liner in them? I'm in Texas and will probably remove my liner too
