Thermal Detonator - Questions

1. What is the best way to attached your thermal detonator to your belt to keep it secure for trooping?

2. What is the most screen accurate way to attach it?

The quote below is from the Lancer Standards CRL 2014 -

"The tubing is then secured using velcro over lap much like a TK, with black twin armed brackets holding each end of the tube to the belt (close to see whats on screen). "

If anyone can post pictures of what this looks like I would appreciate it. I cannot picture it.

Moncal's kit uses a pair of molle clips attached to the tube via pop rivets. Very secure. The only tricky bit is drilling a hole in each clip to install the rivet; spring steel is a b**** to drill.

I just used industrial velcro. Put a piece on the back of my belt and presto TD sticks. Haven't completed the whole outfit yet but initial testing seems promising.

You might reconsider just flying with velcro alone (industrial or otherwise). Having some metal clips makes a big difference if someone tries to pull it off or if you get stuck in a crowd and it gets bumped hard. ;)
