SharkForge Posted May 21, 2014 Share Posted May 21, 2014 Hey guys! Just a quick question. How long was the wait time for your KS helmets? We ordered a kit to build over 4 weeks ago. I've asked them for an update with no response. They were pretty chatty, sending a PDF file of prices and all that jazz and as soon as we paid the communication was bad haha. Has anyone had any bad experience with KS delivering? I know its a pretty common bucket or at the very least a popular option. I'm probably prematurely worrying but they told me 4 weeks at the very most and its been longer than that with no communication. BikerScout007 Posted May 21, 2014 Share Posted May 21, 2014 It took me about 3 months to get mine. And that was after several, not-so-pleased emails. They are terrible at communication. I had better luck reaching them through their Facebook page than through emails. On the plus side, they said the hold up was due to them having to re-do their molds. DO a search above and you'll find some feedback and people asking and talking about KS. You'll also find that If you need an answer, and you are not getting replies to your emails, sending messages on facebook will get their attention. If you start threatening to make things public, They will move a lot faster. I'm under the impression that it's just one person doing all the work, so if you have patience, use it. But, No, not a scam. Just.... Overwhelmed. And I'm in no way making excuses for them. It is nice to hear everyone is at least receiving their stuff, even if it a bit later than what they said it would take. As long as it gets here! Thanks for the understanding and swift responses.
