Tell me if you notice a issue? :(<_<:angry2:E8326EE2-785F-49E8-9638-EF7593A5EFC9_zpsm8n5me9u.jpg

the bolt isn't flush and the visor isn't flush with the faceplate.

Those issues?

Did you glue it yet?

It's glued, I did not glue it. Someone else did.... *lesson learned*

if its a glue like e6000 you should be able use a hobby knife to possibly split the seam.

If it was a cement or something, life will be considerably more difficult

Gorilla glue was used

Try dunking it in Gastrol Purple Power for a week. It may loosen the glue unless it's the kind that actually melts the material it glues together. This may also soften the plastic a little, but once you wash it off with dishwashing soap and let it dry it should go back to normal. Just don't get the Purple Power on your skin.

No guarantees, though.

Finger nail polish

Acetone eats the glue off

Yeah acetone is what I found, I'll give it a try

It will work. I had to use it too to redo my helmet when I received it. Only the person before me used E6000. I just pored some on, waited a minute or two, and it came off easy with light prying.

acetone will melt the plastic, so use very little. I filled in the seam on my helmet by melting the plastic I trimmed off into a paste with acetone, then spread the melted paste onto the seam. The plastic underneath reacted quickly to it and I spent a lot of time cleaning up the mess I made.

Yes, NegativeEleven is correct, acetone eats plastic. It will likely destroy the finish, so use it only on areas you cant see and be very careful with it.

Another option is to just trim the faceplate to the visor....it will have the faceplate slightly tilted more downward but may be a good option, especially if the plastic is thin as the acetone may just destroy it.

Turns out this was an easy fix. HAHA gorilla glue doesn't stand to well in the Arizona heat, it separated on its own. All is fixed now!!
