I'm planning on ordering the scout kit. My question is: what major modifications will I have to do when ordering this? I've noticed people on the forum asking for parts and modifications tips. What will I be getting into when ordering this...or will it be acceptable "out of the box"

Generally acceptable out of the box, depending on your body size. Straighten the lines on the shoulder bells and round the corners on them though.

A minor detail,you could replace the thermal detonator tube with a longer one,but it is not very important...

Generally the modifications are for fit (more elastic/velcro for bigger people, trimming plastic for smaller ones, better material for belt fabric/det clips). The armor itself doesn't inherently need changes for approval. Pretty much just rounding corners and sanding edges to keep it from catching on fabric underneath or poking you.
