kelt_knight
I need a new hobby and need to step away from the computer I am around all day. I am looking to getting my suit and building it. I want the highest level for my suit for the 501st. I will be going to Disney and the Star Wars celebration next year. I have friends from art college working on the next Star Wars film and friends at ILM etc. Star Wars is way more than just a bunch of movies to me. Even being a 3D artist in real life I like episodes 4-6 over the new ones and all the over used 3D..... I want my old Yoda back...... lol (Armor) http://www.studiocre...morforsale.html (Gloves) http://shop.mobilewe...=0&isNewKw=true (Boots) I will be riveting the gun holster on the boot later. https://drive.google...dit?usp=sharing https://drive.google...dit?usp=sharing https://drive.google...dit?usp=sharing
Bobik96
Good luck! I have the same armor and gloves. I haven't started my boots yet. I plan to wear mine at Celebration next year too.
BikerScout007
SC puts together a great package. Pretty much have everything you need in one box. You should be pleased with it!
kelt_knight
Good luck! I have the same armor and gloves. I haven't started my boots yet. I plan to wear mine at Celebration next year too. We should meet up at Celibration. I have never been by the way. Can't wait to have my armor parts and get started on this. Always wanted a suit but always found another reason to not spend the money on it..... Not any longer...

Chex
Oh it's gonna be an epic time for the Pathfinders at Celebration Anaheim. At least I'm hoping it is. If you're free this weekend, you should stop by one of the comic book stores in Jax and say hi. I'll prolly be at Gotham, or stop by Books a Million in OP on Sunday. We'll be there around noon until 4. Bring your boots if you do. I'd like to take a better look at them.

I live in OP and work out at Cecil field. I will be with my wife and baby girl. I would like to finish the boots and all before I show them. kelt_knight
I sold my AR-15 assault rifle to get enough to build my scout suit. Can still have fun with my other guns and my Barrett .50 cal snipper rifle. Shooting that gun is enough just by itself. When you put over 15,000 USD in a rifle you have to love shooting...... BOOOOOOM..... Now the fun starts. Going to get SC armor. UPDATE 1. I ordered my armor from SC this weekend. 2. Ordered my blaster from NegativeEleven 3. I am going to order the Jump Suit, Vest Flak, Cummerbund with Utility Pouches from cucblack Edited May 5, 2014 by kelt_knight

Fistful of Energon
Looks awesome. Wish I would've applied decals before attaching the tank to the backplate. Made it unnecessarily complicated lol
Skinner3D
does anybody ever take the CRL up on 'number of stripes from 1 to 6'? :D Looks good so far,
Soundwave
Just about all the optional choices I had to make on my build I thought about and made sure I had meaning for it. Like, on the tank - I went with 6 because it has meaning for me. I don't want to keep repeating the story, But someone close to me passed away on 1/23... So, I felt that I could safely use that and add 6 bars for ranking stripes on my tank for that small detail and it has meaning to me. Everyone else thinks it's standard, but for me, I chose 6 because it was important. For me, this is all personal, and I take an exceptional amount of pride in it.

I am building this suit so I can be in the 501st but more importantly its a way I can have fun and go to hospitals around the city and see kids with cancer etc and make them forget they are sick for a few mins. I was in a coma in 2003 after a med pump ODed me and my heart stopped and I was dead for over 5 min but came back to life after the doc etc gave up. I woke up in the kids cancer part of the hospital. They did not have many fun things to do so I thought this would be fun to do. I get to be in 501 and do things to make kids happy at the same time...
EnigmaEngine
Knowing that you came out of it alright makes me feel secure in joking about it. All I can think from that description is "Everyone thought I was dead, so they wheeled me into the children's cancer ward." "Hey kids, wanna see a dead body?"
kelt_knight
Sorry have not been on here in a few days. I been looking for a job. Also went skydiving over the weekend. Wish I had a scout trooper suit on but ya its not finished. I would have to take the back tank off to make room for the parashoot etc. Also have no idea how the suit would react to the high winds on the way down. If it worked it would make for a great pic...hmmm maybe I have idea....
Skinner3D
That would be an awesome pic. Seeing as you have to strap yourself into the parachute, I feel like the only part that would give you issues would be the helmet. The landing might be a problem too. Where are the worst pressure spots when you open chute?
kelt_knight
Well I am back. I have moved and I went through a bad divorce and more. I am living in St. Louis now working as a 3D artist. Glad to be back on this site and working on Star Wars things. So my newest toy other than scout stuff is a new 2015 Mustang. So how has everyone been doing?
