Newbie Armor questions

I'm just starting to look into getting Scout armor and I have a few questions:

I was wondering how to find SC armor. I found MonCal but cannot find anything on SC.

I'm looking to buy an entire kit - what would be the best armorer to go with?

Need armor on the smaller side (ab. 5' 3" 140 lbs). The least amount of touch ups the better. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

This is my first build and I was very intimidated by it. But once I started working on it everything fell into place nicely. The SC kit comes with everything that you need including detailed instructions. It was also very easy to work with the plastic. I also hear that the SC helmet is smaller than others. It may be just right for you.

Best way to avoid being overwhelmed: take it one part at a time. Turn it into manageable bite-sized chunks. SC is a fantastic kit, and a good one for smaller frames. PandaTrooper's build will be of particular use for you; he's a smaller frame and shows a lot of detail on how he trimmed it. But look at lots of builds....you never know where you'll pick up a good tip. Feel free to ask things, feel free to send PM's, be patient, etc.

Jacqueline, at your size, you'll have to do a bit of trimming. But like Dylan mentioned above, just take it once piece at a time. :)

I purchased the full kit from SC and in the current process of "fitting" it to my size. I'm 4'11 so I know the struggle lol. I'll PM you a link that SC actually sent me to help with tips on trimming and soft armor suggestions. Since our height and build differ from the standard armor made for men don't let it discourage you!
