Fitz Posted April 7, 2014 Posted April 7, 2014 I have a SC helmet that I put together and I accidently made the ear holes too large. Any ideas on how to fix them? I need suggestions as soon as possible. My deadline to be approved for FanX Comic Con is Wednesday and I need to get this fixed before then. Quote
Merquise XIII Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 I have one, unfortunately its not a close up. Hopefully he'll post a close up. We have an armor party tonight and i'll get a good look then. Quote
Griffin-X Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 I can't really tell from the pic, but the ears do look sort of large. If you cut too much from them, it's going to be a hard fix. It's easy to remove plastic, harder to add it back! Quote
Merquise XIII Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 Agreed. I asked him to take a couple pics if he can before work today. Hopefully we can come up with something. The other option is he can order the back portion from SC. But it definitely wont be here for the con or approvals. Quote
mr_hair Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 You could try getting some white Milliput and resculpting round the holes. Once the Milliput dries you can sand it down to get a smooth finish & blend it into the helmet. 1 Quote
