gr1fter Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 I have a few armor scratches from bumping into things, armor bins, etc on my tank topper and other areas. Can this be repaired easily or should I just let it ride and be "battle damaged"?
Smiling Fox Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 From a distance no one will notice. Up close, it looks like you've been around the block a few times. Let it ride. 2
Darth Voorhees Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 I'd let it ride as well If you REALLY wanted to fix it, id just use Novus plastic polish 1
Chex Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 What Lou said, but I call it natural weathering. You'll see it on my scout at SWW, Ed. 1
mr_hair Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 Pah...tis only a scratch. You don't want to look like one of those poncy, shiny TKs now do you? Go out there & get your hands dirty trooper! 6
Griffin-X Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 Word. It's the "natural" way to acquire battle damage.
bjsavage7 Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 A little polish never hurts. http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B002UD0GIG/ref=sr_1_4_olp?ie=UTF8&qid=1395897314&sr=8-4&keywords=novus+polish&condition=new
Donovan Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 Is it a scratch or the black marks? If it's like the paint marks I use brasso.I'm the odd scout here and I like to be shiny lol. I'm just too odd about it and don't like it to be dirty 1
Dart Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 The only time I clean up marks or scratches on my kit is if it's a weird colour. I've had red, purple and blue scuffs that I'll carefully scrape off. But otherwise, it's all weathering.
