Salenamm Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 How did some of you get your pouches to stay firm like a box. My duck cloth pouches have nothing in them to stay firm right now but I am looking for ideas to change that. Feedback would be appreciated! -Salena Quote

Salenamm Posted March 13, 2014 Author Posted March 13, 2014 You stuffed Tupperware inside the boxes? Or sewed them inside the duck cloth? Quote
EnigmaEngine Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 I've got a pair of foam blocks inside mine, but a garrison-mate is making plastic box inserts for his and is planning to offer them to others at some point. I swear there was someone overseas that offered boxes as well. Quote
jyjellyfish77 Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 I just use foam from the fabric store. I cut out a spot for my phone and my wallet. Quote
mr_hair Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 Foam block in one side, and in the other, I had an old card box that fit perfectly. I've put Velcro inside at strategic points & stuck my ROM/FX in there. Then they're both covered in the same fabric as the bund is made from. Quote
4505Marcel Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 Foam but round the edges a lot as you don't want them over box shape Quote
SIPPY Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 Go and buy yourself a sheet of coreflute. That's what I've made my internal boxes out of. It's strong, light and it fits perfectly. Measure the size if your pouches and score and fold it accordingly. 1 Quote
BikerScout007 Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 A tupperware sandwich box is perfect. Plus, waterproof for rainy troops. I just tried this. Works brilliantly. And it doesn't look like I'm wearing an inflatable device, Quote
