TB46800 Lancer Application (APPROVED)

Recommended Posts

Okay, so new build, no better time to go Lancer! Here are all the pics I've taken for my clearance, plus a few extra close ups. Marcel, I know you said about watching the bund droop at the back. I'm going to fix elastic suspenders on the bund to make sure it's nice and straight. The pouches are probably a little too close together in these shots too, but they're easily moved. Any feedback would be most welcome...

Looking good there! I see weathering on the bund and pouch, and on the boots, but I see none on the rest of the armor. That should prolly be evened out with some light weathering in spots like you did on the boots and bund.

Your drop boxes are uneven. They should rest squarely on your side, and your right box needs to come up just a tad to match the height up your left.

You had already mentioned the bund sag so it sounds like you have that covered. I can also see a little bit of the bund ribbing under your belt in the front as well.

Yep, I just finished the build yesterday, hence the clean & shiny armour, so gonna do a bit of weathering next day off. Also noticed the drop boxes after I put the pics up. Will get on it...

Quick update... Did a spot of weathering last night. Also stitched elastic suspenders to the bund. Taking the flak jacket to an alteration place on Monday to have 2" Velcro stitched on as I've only got 1" at the mo. Pics to follow soon, but the missus is away this weekend & I'm not going to start taking selfies in the mirror like some pouting lass getting ready to go to the disco...

Decided to take the lot to work and prance about a bit before I do any actual work. Just because...
