Bubonos
Hey guys. I'm sure it's been said already but I'm having trouble finding any info of is sc was worth buying? They claim their armor is fine but buckets arent approvable. Now I saw somewhere that their buckets arent bad. It's deffanatly affordable for me. Here's the link I've been using:http://www.studiocreations.com/howto/bikerscout/bike_armorforsale.html
Chef
SC stuff is fine, lids included. As with all costumes, it's not purely down to the armour alone, it's down to all the parts together, and how they are finished.
jyjellyfish77
I have the SC armor approved. It's great. I bought an MLC helmet because I wanted fiberglass instead of ABS. From what I've seen, the SC helmet is approvable with no problem.
4505Marcel
SC is ok, but as Rob said, you have to finish it right. From what I understand their helmets are quite small, and he us currently upgrading some bits. It is quite large fitting as far as armour goes and is very robust for trooping, I'm more than happy with mine
Heavy
I´ve got both the SC armor and the helmet and got it approved - great service, quick transport and no problems with extra help/pieces afterwards. So I can warmly say, that it´s a fine place to buy from and I love my armor and helmet.
Bubonos
thanks guys. We have some great costume makers in Bast Alpha so I'm sure it'll be fine!
Donovan
Marcel- is he really upgrading his helmet? Looks like I need to save up haha,!
flashcove
My SC armor is approved. I do have a KS helmet due to one being locally available when I started building my trooper.
PanzerKraken
I use a KS with my SC. I had a SC bucket and it was quite small. Unless you have a very thin profile and small head, probably best to look elsewhere for a bucket.
01Hawk
Is there a way to get In touch with SC other than their site? I am at the point where I have all my money ready to buy my armor but want to ask him a few questions before just using the Paypal. Button. The site rejects my aol ( I know , it is that old) email as well as my work email address.
Chex
What exactly do you need to know. Jeff (SC) is also a member here. Just ask the questions you have. We might be able to answer them for you.
01Hawk
Thanks! My questions were... 1) what is the time frame currently on shipping armorand helmet 2) what modifications are needed to the helmet to be 501st approved 3) what defines an extra large head? My head isn't Beetlejuice like but I don't really think it is Sloth sized either. I was/am still really torn on which helmet to get but would like to get the project done by June if possible. I have plenty of free time ...some of the SC pics look " wide" in the face for a lack of a better description compared to the more expensive ones. Most people not involved with this stuff ( ie: people at charity events which is my goal) prob wouldn't even take notice so I was thinking about starting with the SC helmet for now as it is my first actual build. Thanks for the help!
EnigmaEngine
I can't answer the second two, since I've got a different bucket. But in regards to the first, my armor got shipped out from them in under a month. Might've only been a couple of weeks, but I think it was between 3-4. Very quick, all things considered. Cheshire
Yeah, I can't help with the second two questions either but I ordered my SC armor recently and was extremely pleased with the quick turnaround. It was easily 3-4 weeks for delivery, probably closer to 3 than 4.
01Hawk
Since plenty of people seem pleased with their purchases I am just gonna buy the complete kit and see how it goes. If I have to buy a different helmet down the line no big deal. Just anxious to get started lol.
Soundwave
Not to brag, but maybe I just chose a good time to order... I ordered my armor from SC, and got it in about a week or so.

Scout Sniper 23
i have his armor completely done and it is a great buy, the armor and helmet don't really need modifications except only to fit your body in the most comfortable way or to your specifications
