Andrew
I am curious on how to restore some old shine back to my armor as it is losing its shine due to being very old and weathered. Is clear spray paint a good way to get some shine back?
batninja
I recommend Novus plastic polish: http://www.webstaurantstore.com/novus-plastic-polish-kit-plastic-polish-and-scratch-remover-8-oz/448PN7100.html?utm_source=Shopping.com&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=Shopping.com+Campaign
Andrew
I have that stuff for my TK. I've tried it on the scout and it doesn't do anything lol...
Chef
If Novus polish isn't touching it, then you may want to try a slightly harsher cutting compound, something like Farecla G3 or similar. If that doesn't do it then your only real option is going to be painting it. I wouldn't go with a clear coat, I'd go with straight white (appliance white they call it over here).
Skinner3D
I am new to the armoring scene, but it seems like mariners wax would restore the shine to your armor. It works just fine on composite material kayaks, which are mostly a plastic based material.
