Getting that shine look

I am curious on how to restore some old shine back to my armor as it is losing its shine due to being very old and weathered. Is clear spray paint a good way to get some shine back?

I recommend Novus plastic polish:

I have that stuff for my TK. I've tried it on the scout and it doesn't do anything lol...

If Novus polish isn't touching it, then you may want to try a slightly harsher cutting compound, something like Farecla G3 or similar.

 

If that doesn't do it then your only real option is going to be painting it.

 

I wouldn't go with a clear coat, I'd go with straight white (appliance white they call it over here).

I am new to the armoring scene, but it seems like mariners wax would restore the shine to your armor. It works just fine on composite material kayaks, which are mostly a plastic based material.
