Yes, it would work. But remember, it all comes down to how it looks on you. I don't see anything wrong with it though.

Whereas I would say the neckline is far too tight.

The screen used suits had a neckline that extended to almost where the shoulder bells were, and on the back it was noticeably lower than the shoulders.

It'll clear 501st easy, but Lancer... I'd have some reservations.

I got my undersuit/cummerbund/vest from him. Mailed at the start of december; still waiting on arrival. Given they shipped from Bolivia, I'm only now expecting them any day. But once they arrive I'll have pics/info up.

He's quick getting it out the door. Now shipping is slow from Bolivia. I have his vest, under suit, bund and bucket. Very happy with all of it. He custom fits it to you, make sure you get the measurements right.

I think the neckline is correct, like the original. In the pics look a little tight, no far too tight as you say. But isn't. The problem with pics is the guy (me), too big for this vest. I'll take new pics!!!

Look these pics, this the first vest that I made, but the neckline is the same that the actual vest. This design was modified: Sleeve more adjusted and long. Velcro closure right over the left. And some stitching details.

I had to have my neck widened It was a bit right for Lancer. Guess it all depends on the measurement that are given and how it finally fits the wearer. I like my suit and flak vest . Just need a little modification.

Just to illustrate my point.

I still think the neck line should be wider.

But that's just me!
