mattcamaro
Ok I confused now by command pockets. One person said they were to close to the lines and now as I read another's I take it they have said they were not close enough. The neck line of the flak vest : I was told it needs to be near the shoulder bells does that mean you want it under the bridge of the chest and back plates. And if I can ask where is that in the CRL? Please help. I don't understand
Stroker
If your talking about pouches I think everybody around here says one rib width on both sides. I'm referring to the ribs on the bund. That's the way I wear mine along with most of the other guys I meet.

4505Marcel
The pouches, should be close to the verticle ribs, but not touching. The ribs need to be visible, at all times. The flak vest just needs a wide neck opening just like in the film, it doesn't need to go under the shoulder bridges, but some did in the film. Mine go up to the bridges, but has the low scollop so it sits about 50mm lower than the flight suit neck if you like. It does say in both the standard CRL and also the Lancer CRL mate, about the vest having a wide neck line!!
Chef
Here is a little montage to help explain it all. As for the pouch spacing... It's a relatively subjective thing as people's frames differ from those on screen. The general rule is that you should have all the ribs showing and the inner edges of the pouches should sit pretty close to, but not covering the outermost stitch line on the ribbing. sort of like this... Obviously it can vary a little... as peoples waist line and pouch sizes vary ever so slightly, but you don't want the pouches under your arm pits or covering over the ribbing on your bund.
