Guest kupertrooper
Hi guys I'm starting a biker scout and have a couple questions. Is there a thread that explains a lot of the common acronyms? Is there a thread that shows the various places to get armor like from KS or Moncal and how to get ahold of them? 4505Marcel
There is lots of threads on here mate explain gall aspects of the scout, you just need to spend a bit of time reading before starting your scout. But if you cant find an answer always ask questions, saves any costly mistakes. We don't have any real detailed where to buy threads, you have got to remember a lot if this stuff is unlicensed and Lucas or now Disney wouldn't like us endorsing such a thing. We get away with what we do as it is all for raising money for charity, we don't profit from this. All the armour comparisons are in threads so again, it comes down to you doing a little research bud
Chunk
Its code so Disney doens'tt send in the Mouse to whack us all. PM me & I'll tell you what all the acronyms mean.

Guest kupertrooper
Thanks guys. So far I'm leaning towards a KS bucket and hard armor from Creative Studios (SC?). Any downsides to those two?

Please use abbreviations for makers. ...but no. Not really. Those are both good choices.
Guest hel0wrench
Take a look at the size comparisons for your helmet. KS seems to be the biggest one out there and for smaller frames and shorter scouts it can have the bobble head effect.
Darth Voorhees
LW is bigger than KS. KS has a bit more width than most but is still short top to bottom in comparison to the screen used. LW is the closest to screen used. KS makes a nice helmet though if its assembled well. I suggest a kit and not getting it built by them. Their assembly is awful and needs to be redone. Ive redone 2 already for people! I wil actually have a "rebuilt" one for sale in the next couple of days. Got it from a garrison mate for helping him build his scout

Huntman
just remember to look at multiple threads. There are several ways to do things especially since material differ from place to place
Guest Speederscout007
Here is a newbie question. What do the character abbreviations stand for? As in TB for biker scouts and TK for storm troopers. What's TB? TK? Is there a big list somewhere? I'd like to know them all.
EnigmaEngine
It originates from the line in A New Hope "TK-421, why aren't you at your post?" From there, it just seems to be a pair of letters that makes some sense. "SL" -Sith Lord. "BH" - Bounty Hunter. "IG" Imperial Gunner. And so forth. spookymufu
I thought TB meant "Trooper Biker" and TS "Trooper Snow", TD "trooper Desert", etc
EnigmaEngine
Well clearly TB stands for "Trooper Badass".
Guest Speederscout007
So, what are the official terms for TK and TB?
Scout Sniper 23
Stormtrooper and Biker Scout but other than that i don't really know lol
bjsavage7
TB has been understood to stand for Trooper, Biker. TK just repeats what we heard in ANH, However, we on FISD have sort-of tossed around the word "Kavallerist" which is German for "Trooper". Although, that would be translated to "Trooper Trooper". Which is kinda weak.
