i melted some pieces of ABS in acetone, after sanding it,what can i use to make it glossy? In my local garrison they suggest me to use Polish.I need something other?

You could use a fine sandpaper and a Novus 1,2,3 polish routine, but I doubt it would ever match the helmet. If you plan to fill the gap, you should prime and paint the entire helmet. That way it will have a uniform finish.

I have a KS & had the same problem with a thin gap. I used bathroom calking & came out great. I plan on paiting the whole helmet.
