Hey everyone. Just thought I'd post up seeing as I've been placing orders for all the parts! I don't have any of the parts yet, but most has been ordered. Il be posting up with progress reports, hopefully pretty regularly. I'm aiming at having it completed by Halloween and maybe a local convention, but I may be dreaming. I do have a fair amount of free time however

 

Armour/Helmet: Ordered (SC)

Gloves: Ordered

Boots: Ordered

Soft parts: Riding suit ordered, still trying to find a Cummerbund

If anyone has a guide, or thread on building the SC lid and could send it my way, I'd be incredibly appreciative! Been looking and havent found one yet..

So Ive started on my build and have been tinkering with the helmet. Ive cut out the lens area, but is even/symmetrical? Ive been staring at it so long Ive been second guessing myself.

Decided to put some of the decal on the tank today. How does it look?

 

 

 

 

Also Worked on strapping for the arm pieces/knees.

The top of the eye piece looks a little off. Could be the angle, it's hard to translate 2D to 3D, but the left side looks like it's cut higher than the right. I'd ask Marcel or GriffinX.

I've since sanded the top more. Looks more even now. I think. I'll post a picture once I'm home.
