scout.trooper
Hey again! Just got a nice pair of boots finished off by Robbie and I'm trying to break them in. I found out that getting in and out of the shoe itself is a bit of a challenge since I don't want to rip/tear any of the vinyl (and there's no pull tab on the heel for an easy way to get my feet in!). Does anyone have any pics of slots they but into the back of their boots for as easier time slipping their feet in and out? How do you seal the slot... with ties or zipper? Gaunt899
Velcro on the back?
scout.trooper
Yeah, there's Velcro on the back of the boot... I was talking about the shoe itself tho. I loosened the laces as much as I could but it still takes me like 5 minutes to wriggle my foot in there.
Dart
You can always cut a chunk of the back off with some scissors to make it easier to get the boots on. So long as you don't break the heel counter/cup, you don't really need any of the padded material around the top.
TheRookie
Did you try using a shoe horn?
scout.trooper
That's not a bad idea, Rookie.
