Death Recon
Hey guys, heres my remake on the "Stanley 50 Gal Job Chest" Just wanted to share, thought some of you might get the itch to do one of your own as well... Ok so over at CTN I seen IRONFETT had a thread: http://forum.clonetr...ley#entry219454 anyways after seeing what a wicked job he did on his box I decided to do one of my own but with a Kashyyyk twist. (thats my address and phone # in englisha nd then in aruebesh on the top, & "Death Recon" in aurebesh on the front) ("CB 85039" aurebesh) (bottom right in aurebesh says "I fought at Kashyyyk and all I got was this lousy sticker" ) I lined the whole inside with those anti-fatigue mats (4 pack multi coloured) now my armor is nice and protected, plus doesnt get dinged up inside the box. You can pick up one of these box's from Home Depot (Canada or the US) for around $100 It fits a full set of armor plus a lil extra for weapons or emergency repair kit (I've got my whole set plus my DC-15S & L)
Darth Voorhees
Nice!!! i did something like that to my fett tote back in 2009. What was cool was that it was silver to begin with, so when the paint scrapes, it just looks like weathering haha Here is mine now:
Death Recon
Nice Lou, I guess Fett can fit in a pretty confined area.

scout.trooper
Wow, that's pretty cool. Did you use a stencil for the text or is that freehand? The Fett one is pretty awesome too! I love that your tote has wheels, Death Recon! I'm definitely checking out Home Depot after I get my armor.
Death Recon
I actually have a good buddy that can do full colour decals, so I had him do me up some in aurebesh (haha had to make him add the font to his computer)
Darth Voorhees
Nice Lou, I guess Fett can fit in a pretty confined area. Grumpy
Old news, man...I did mine back in 2009! Hey Recon, here's that nameplate I was telling you about.
Grumpy
And with that, I had to do my other bins, and the rest of the family's as well... My Commander Bly My wife's Kashyyyk My son's Kashyyyk My son's Shocktrooper And my daughter's Junior Kashyyyk (She has the smaller size armor bin.) I also painted Tunnel Rat's a similar style. His armor bin has white and blue colors, so he can use it to haul his Snowtrooper, as well. Cheers!
Death Recon
That's wicked, I really love the paint jobs. Makes me want to change my cam pattern... Yeah I got a nameplate on order but with the new Kashyyyk logo (the new patch with you on it) If I end up redoing my paint job on my armor I'll have to redo the box as well but then I'll new some new pouches to repainted as well
bselphfsu282
I pretty much did the inverse of you Allan. Ill put up a pic later, but here is what I did for the armor. Joann's had a sale on fleece, camo at that, and I sewed individual bags for the armor so they would not scratch one another.
