DAngel Posted August 6, 2013 Posted August 6, 2013 Hi everyone! We (me, SL-10010, and my husband ID-11100) have just received our SC kits. It's our first project with plastic armour, so we're a new to that. We've tried some pieces of armour on ourselves and it seems that for me it's a little bit big. Can I trim it a little bit or I should leave all the parts intact? ID-11100 noticed that shoulder part will look better on him if he will trim a 0.5 cm of it - is this ok? Thank you very much! P.S.: Sorry, I don't have pictures, but I can try to do them if it will help in understanding my concern. Quote
Donovan Posted August 6, 2013 Posted August 6, 2013 Of course its fine! I'm only 5'3 and I needed to trim my parts.don't be scared to cut them down a little bit so they fit you.you wouldn't want to wear something too big it would be uncomfortable for you Quote
Jancelot Posted August 7, 2013 Posted August 7, 2013 Yes, trim away! Check out Pandatrooper's build thread for the adjustments he made to his chest and back. Cheers and welcome! Quote
Southscout Posted August 7, 2013 Posted August 7, 2013 Hi Alyona and welcome! Like they say above Quote
Chunk Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 Measure once twice three times if neccassary. Because once you cut theres no turning back. Quote
