So I've started working on biker scout costume, and I'm about ready to sew the suede patchs on to my jumpsuit. Before I did that though, I wanted to get some oppions on the size and positioning of the saddle patches.

 

Do they look wide enough (it come down to about 1-2 inches above my knee)?

 

Also should I connect the elastic where it says front to wear it says back on the pattern seen in the pictures?
