SC's new Elbow armor ....

Recommended Posts

BSNers,

We just pulled the first plastic off the vactable of our elbow mold upgrade.

From what you can see in these two pictures, are there any tweaks we need to make other than sanding the mold smoother?

Any feedback you have is welcome. We've been looking at this mold for too long and we have lost all objectivity on the subject.

Thanks,

-Jeff

Looking good Jeff.

I'd have said make the back part a bit deeper.

I'll try and get some pics to explain when I've got five minutes free...

Can we see a straight on pic? I think it looks good from those angles.

Sure, I'll take a straight on photo today and try to post it tonight.

Chef... Oh, yes, please post images of what you are referring to. A longer back tail? or a deeper bevel? Images explain so much more than words, when it comes to props. :)

Jeff.... Hopefully here's a picture to explain what I mean...

The bit at the back, is a bit deeper and the return edge is pretty big.

Not a massive difference from where you are, so shouldn't be much altering to do.

Chef, Yeah, currently the elbow does not have that return edge on that back wall, but we are adding a 'shim' to the mold this week to give them the return edge. Thanks for pointing it out and linking that image up. We were sitting on the fence about doing the shim, but now it's a definite necessity.

Darth Vorhees, Here's the 'straight' shot , both from the front and the back. Taken with my 3mp iphone camera...

If I can get more feedback from more fans, that would be great. I want these to be as good as possible and the more people that chime in about issues or concerns just help raise the level of accuracy. Save the images and send them to someone else if you know they have that "eye for detail".
