StudioCreations Posted June 30, 2013 Share Posted June 30, 2013 BSNers, We just pulled the first plastic off the vactable of our elbow mold upgrade. From what you can see in these two pictures, are there any tweaks we need to make other than sanding the mold smoother? Any feedback you have is welcome. Oh, yes, please post images of what you are referring to. A longer back tail? or a deeper bevel? Images explain so much more than words, when it comes to props. Chef Posted July 12, 2013 Share Posted July 12, 2013 Jeff.... Hopefully here's a picture to explain what I mean... The bit at the back, is a bit deeper and the return edge is pretty big. StudioCreations Posted July 16, 2013 Author Share Posted July 16, 2013 Chef, Yeah, currently the elbow does not have that return edge on that back wall, but we are adding a 'shim' to the mold this week to give them the return edge. Thanks for pointing it out and linking that image up. We were sitting on the fence about doing the shim, but now it's a definite necessity. I want these to be as good as possible and the more people that chime in about issues or concerns just help raise the level of accuracy.
