4505Marcel Posted June 17, 2013 Posted June 17, 2013 Expensive $52 ? Those look pretty cheap to me, although there was talk of Sitharmour offering them again aswell. So there are options which is good. I just hope troopers dont click your link and buy the boots a little further down the page as they are probably the least accurate ive seen, utter rubbish lol
Donovan Posted June 17, 2013 Author Posted June 17, 2013 Lol yeah they r.and idunno they just seem a little more expensive than SA.$52 plus $10 shipping.last I tlk to him they were like $42 plus $8 shipping. But hey at least these gloves r rlly nice.
Chef Posted June 17, 2013 Posted June 17, 2013 Well, they are SA Gloves, so he's got to put his slice on top!
Landeaux Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 I just received these gloves. They look good, stitching appears good and good quality leather. I'm not sure if they are SA gloves. Here are some pictures of the glove.
topherhunter Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 I got a pair of these as well, and am quite pleased. They run true to size, and the lining isn't overly thick. As a bonus, there's a small pocket on the anterior cuff containing rain covers. Probably a nice spot to stash an ID and a few garrison cards while trooping. 1
Flyboy Posted June 21, 2013 Posted June 21, 2013 Those gloves do look pretty nice! For those that have received them, are they going to meet 501st and/or lancer specs? How much give will the gloves have after broken in a bit do you think? After measuring I'm just on the cusp between small and medium, not sure which size to order.
topherhunter Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 As far as passing spec, you'll have to wait until I submit, unless someone else is more of an expert than me. They're quite comfortable, and I think they'll work well as they break in. I measured as the seller suggests, and they came true to size. The lining probably gives a little if you are in between, so it's your call. If you want slightly tight, you'll probably be ok with the size down.
Archer Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 I just ordered a pair of extra large even though I won't be doing a biker scout for several months. Good to get them when they become available I always say!!
Guest The Sniper Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 Thanks for posting this up. I'm in the process of putting my TB together and looking for a pair of gloves. At US$52 plus $24 posted to Australia, well, you pay for what you get. They look real comfy though.
topherhunter Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 I just ordered a pair of extra large even though I won't be doing a biker scout for several months. Good to get them when they become available I always say!! Yeah, I almost want to go through all of the CRLs and tag the parts that are hard or unusually expensive to get. Mark them 'buy this before anything else' or something. Scout gloves, snowie boots, officer boots.... 1
Guest Manbrolorian Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 So the general consensus from the buyers is that these are good gloves?
Flyboy Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 Just got mine in the mail today, very good quality and construction, look like the pictures, fast shipping, very happy with them!
The Dark One 508 Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 Is there a way to tell these from the SA gloves?
Archer Posted July 4, 2013 Posted July 4, 2013 got mine in the post the other day and they are great quality!! on a hot day you can bet your hands will sweat guaranteed!!
goldenrod Posted July 4, 2013 Posted July 4, 2013 I too just bought a pair of these and have to say they are worth the price. Very comfy and well made, and not to mention they look pretty darn screen accurate to me. And they shipped them superfast!
Chunk Posted July 6, 2013 Posted July 6, 2013 Is there a way to tell these from the SA gloves? Theses are SithArmor Gloves. "Mypropcollection" is his eBay store name.
The Dark One 508 Posted July 7, 2013 Posted July 7, 2013 Theses are SithArmor Gloves. "Mypropcollection" is his eBay store name. whew. Thank you.
pleasum Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 Thanks for the heads up guys! I ordered mine today. This was the last piece for me. I have purchased three different pairs of gloves with the intent of altering them. These are going to save me a whole bunch of headache!!
Jancelot Posted July 15, 2013 Posted July 15, 2013 Perfect timing. I generally wear large but the sizing seems to suggest medium. Ordered both and will sell the other pair.
Rook262 Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 I received my medium gloves about a week ago. I absolutely love them!
Donovan Posted July 16, 2013 Author Posted July 16, 2013 Those are better looking than the pics he had listed imo
unrealvictim Posted July 18, 2013 Posted July 18, 2013 Received mine in the U.K. last week, I am very happy with them.
