Starting my Scout: Gloves

Finally getting started on my TB. I wanna start with something really easy, so why not gloves?

 

I'm going to be using these as a base;

I got lucky and found this pair on eBay:

Here's how they turned out:

I'd love to tell you how I modded the wrist part, but I just paid a friend $25 to do it. She's got an industrial sewing machine and has worked with leather before. I know the suede is just glued down with E6000.

Okay, they've arrived! :D

The gauntlet part is a little big on my arm, but I think that when I get my flight suit, they'll fit a little better.

Unfortunately for me, the gloves have six bands. Any suggestions on how to remove/replace them with the required four?

All-in-all, these are really good gloves, and I'm happy with my purchase. B) I'm off to do a little research, now.
