opinion on gloves

I cobbled together these gloves and need opinions. I had found the gloves over a year ago, they had the 4 ribs but the gauntlet needed to be modded and it was cut off. So I bought gloves that had a gauntlet with a zipper in the correct spot that I then cut out. Then I sewed the two parts together. The suede needs to be sewed on, but I wanted to wait for opinions on the gloves as Lancer approval is the goal.

Those are the gloves I started with. I had a friend remove the horizontal zipper and instead make the vertical split. I believe she used some leather scraps from another project. I'll try to remember to post pics later today. The biggest difference between what you've got and mine is the width of that vertical split up the gauntlet; mines' a good bit wider.
