Placement of forarm armor?

Hi All,

Just have a dumb question. I have a troop comming up this weekend & wanted to know the proper placement of the forarm armor piece. Does it go inside or outside of the glove? I tried finding screencaps, but couldn't fnd any with the forarm in clear view. All the cosplay images online show both in & out.

Outside is the norm and approved state, as this pic from the BD shows:

 

 

Although, in the movie itself they move around up and down on the arms. Like this:
