scout.trooper Posted February 21, 2013 Posted February 21, 2013 Is this bund/pouch set ok for approval? It has the 7 vertical stitches, but I'm not sure how the "tapered crotch with inverted curve sewn in detail and sits between the legs and connects to the back of the cummerbund by a 50mm black elastic strap" is supposed to look. http://www.mg501.com/gallery/albums/userpics/10019/ourbund07sm.jpg Also, what's your thoughts about this flightsuit? It doesn't have the suede crotch or back panel (I'd have to sew that), but are the number of pockets and the rest ok? It seems to me more of like a rebel trooper kind of flightsuit. http://www.mg501.com/gallery/albums/userpics/10019/Our_final_flightsuit_03asmall.jpg http://www.mg501.com/gallery/albums/userpics/10019/Our_final_flightsuit_05asmall.jpg http://www.mg501.com/gallery/albums/userpics/10019/Our_final_flightsuit_09small.jpg http://www.mg501.com/gallery/albums/userpics/10019/Our_final_flightsuit_13asmall.jpg Is this even accurate? I don't even know what this is for. http://www.mg501.com/gallery/albums/userpics/10019/Our_final_flightsuit_08asmall.jpg
4505Marcel Posted February 21, 2013 Posted February 21, 2013 Id say the bund is fine, but would give the flight suit a miss mate. The pockets and arm section would have to be removed, as will the waist pockets, those ones look tricky to get off as you may end up with a big hole where your hands go in
Chex Posted February 21, 2013 Posted February 21, 2013 Yeah def a no on the flight suit. Way too much work you'd have to put into that, with removing all the pockets and all. A lot of people are going with racing suits. Or you can get with Ladysewforus. She makes custom biker suits.
Griffin-X Posted February 21, 2013 Posted February 21, 2013 I echo the guys above. Ya, that suit is designed after the Tie/At-At flight suit; too many pockets. Looks like MC pics too. You could also go for a standard base coverall and do the mods yourself. http://www.automotiveworkwear.com/RedKap/CT10/coveralls.html
