I don't know if I spelled that right, but I'm wondering where I can find an open-faced balaclava. The ones I've seen all have an open oval for the eyes but the nose and mouth are covered up.

Most Balaclavas you can just open up to reveal your nose and mouth if you want. They often are not so tight that they only reveal the eyes and can be adjusted.

Panzer beat me to it. The one I wear with my Cobra costume was only $6 on Amazon. You can totally stretch the eye hole open to have your mouth free. I bought a second one to throw in the box with my Scout progress just to be sure I don't lose it.

The Under Armour Heat Gear hoods are pretty popular. You can pull the front down so your face shows and they're very comfy as well. I've used one for the past 2.5 years and no complaints. :D

Yep, what Andry said. UA Heat Gear is what I use..need to order a new one..my old one is getting beat up after 2.5 years.

I picked up the spec ops head - gator. It's basically a tube that you can make ninja masks and the like out of. Really light, I intend to wear it more as a hood, I've noticed that when someone wears glasses with a balaclava they fog up. LoL

Thanks for the input. I just picked up this one from Under Armor:

Is this acceptable? And how do I get the UA logo off of the forehead? It seems like an iron-on decal over the polyester shell. If it cannot be removed, is it acceptable to iron on an imperial cog over it?
