gr1fter Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 Hello, It could possibly be on this forum but i have searched and could not find anything. I am just looking for a checklist of all the tools that I would need to be prepared for when my armor arrives. If it is specific can you provide me with details. Thanks so much.
4505Marcel Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 Nothing really specific mate, but you will need a rivit gun, ideally a sewing mahine if not a needle and thread is more than enough, hot glue gun (helmet lense only), curved scissors are great, curved file is handy as is a electric dremmel (you can get away without these but really are great), sand paper, sticky tape. Sticky self adhesive velcro, epoxy glue.

Chef Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 Yeah, there's nothing beyond the average set of tools that you'll need. scissors (normal and the lexan curved type... the latter for cutting plastic). Sticky tape, sand paper, Pencil (for marking), hot glue gun, E6000 glue, rivet gun, bits of velcro, pop snaps (if you feel the need), bits of fabric, webbing.... general odds and sods..... coffee...
Chef Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 I was going to put 'pornography' too..... but thought that might be a step too far.
Crikk Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 Just thought I'd mention, here in the US look up 'Harbor Freight Tools'. it's a great place to get tools cheap. I bought my rivet gun there for $3, they also have glue, velcro, heat gun, power tools (dremel) etc. Basically everthing you need
