PanzerKraken Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 Hello so finally putting it all together and making good progress but one of the last things I have to do is connecting the front and chest plates together with the straps and such. Is there any particulars or requirement for how close the top sides have to be to each other? Are they supposed to be touching? Is it ok to have like an inch or so separation or what is a good screen accurate view of this if any? The SC instructions kind of make it look like you will have a strap between the two plates above the shoulder a bit s wondering what is a no no and what it should be if anything. Some builds I see look like the top shoulder segments are touching and can see no strap separation between them so wondering if thats how its supposed to be or I can have a little gap to allow the armor to sit a bit lower on the chest
4505Marcel Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 Do you mean the bridge above the shoulder??? If so you want that as close as possible, ideally touching. Reason being the bigger the gap the bigger piece of fabric you are going to need to wrap around it, wide wraps are not too good on the eye. If you mean the sides then mine are about 50mm apart, but a gap there is fine
PanzerKraken Posted January 2, 2013 Author Posted January 2, 2013 Yea that's what I mean, the top bridge above the shoulders.
