chilledmilk
Looking good, and nice to know someone plays BF3. How old is the armor, I know the new CRL says yellow is not in the paint spec anymore
BH-4400
Hi chilledmilk, thanks mate - the helmet is from 2009 - i don´t know how old the armor is - i checked the exact colors before i begun to paint. Was so much work - i think the overall impression of the costume has to be very good. The yellow isn´t very flashy. Yeah Battlefield!!!! My PS3 name is BobaFett4400 Happy new year! Cheers Eric
Grumpy
Maybe change the golden-yellow to the brown and green colors, and add some weathering to it. Don't forget the straps on the shins, and the mesh in the "ears" of the helmet. It's all about the details with a Kashyyyk Trooper. Looking good, though. Keep us updated on your progress. Heatshock
yep - yellow is no longer in the CRL. There are some grandfathered in CB's, but new applications should not clear with yellow in their paint scheme. I wouldnt re-do the whole paint scheme. Try to go cover the areas with the base coat, green and brown. Nate
BH-4400
Allright - i´ll keep you updated when i´m done with the whole costume.

LENOX61
Hello Eric.....Welcome to The Swamp. Your costume looks like it is coming along nicely. I agree with Grumpy and Heatshock about the yellow in your camo scheme. Otherwise........it's looking SWEET so far. Keep the pics coming if you can. BH-4400
Hey guys, i just wanted to show you my finished barc. I didn´t change the color until right now - the yellow isn´t so bright shining as in the pics who i posted before.
Grumpy
Hey Eric, The overall appearance looks very good! Great job putting it together. But, from what I see in the pictures, there are some details that need attention. (Were these pictures recently taken?) Don't take this the wrong way. I am not making any harsh criticisms. Just helpful suggestions and advice. I just want to help you get your Kashyyyk looking as best as it can. Could you post some pics that show specific parts? I think you might need to add a few things to comply with the CRL. Post pics of: The belt. (The inside of the squares on the belt should be black.) The glove gauntlet. (Doesn't appear to have the gauntlet greeblie.) The back of the tank. (Needs the black stripe.) The thigh pouches. (There is a specific design for the flap of the thigh pouch.) The pouches. (Need some more camo paint designs on them.) The inside of the shins. (Needs a strap detail piece.) The golden-yellow paint. (It can still be seen. It needs to be a different color....like dirt...or some form of battle damage...or blaster scorching.) If you need any guidance on anything, please ask either myself, Heatshock, of any other Kashyyyk Trooper. We're here to help.
