4505Marcel
First of all you have done a great job on your scout, theres a couple of things firstly the pouches are quite wide apart, and shouldnt have any visable stitching where you have attached the velcro (internal stitching needed) I would recomend possibly to re sew the front bund verticle stitches, either drop one rib as thats still allowed (recomended) or sew the ones you have closer together to then allow you to bring in the pouches abit. Secondly the gloves look huge on you, are they too big for your hands? If they are fitting your hands ok then maybe re sew the cuff to make it tighter, its not a big job and other have done this before to loose the excess cuff. Do you have a chin cup for your bucket? Cyber Scout
Hay and hope ya well I very nice put together Scout but i do have issuse with the lid, the stickers (decals) are KS and wrong they are way to light not the correct gray, and the chin cup is wrong it needs to be the correct movie shape
treehugger
Any way I could get this reviewed again? It is my understanding that the chin cup is no longer applicable to Lancer status and as far as the gray color being too light, I have taken the helmet to Chex for him to see personally and he said it just comes across much lighter in the photos. If I am lucky enough he may even respond. Thanks for the review.
Chef
Thanks for the update on here. It's been a while! You are correct, the chin cup isn't necessary as part of the Lancer Standard. Obviously there have been a few updates to the CRL's within the 18 months since your last post. The only one of those updates that you're going to fall foul of is the change from 6 to 5 ribs for the cummerbund. The only other bit that sticks out to me, is that your bund is slipping below your belt. That's a real easy fix, just hoist it up a bit, so none of the bund pokes below the belt line. To make sure that it doesn't happen whilst trooping, I suggest adding a bit of velcro to the bottom edge of the bund, and same on the belt, so they stick together. Pouch stitching you've done... So that's all good. I'm sure Marcel and Chex will chime in, in good time.
4505Marcel
Hello again As Chef said, you are going to need to un pick your bund vertical stitch lines and re do. You have one rib too many now, only a 5 minute job. And as Rob said pull up you bund a touch, and try to hide that side release clip. It is on my to do list to add the TD black belt clips and also have a Velcro join for lancer rather than the large black buckle. This app is already going so, I won't stop it on that front but I would ask these to be done at a later date. I still agree with Andy about the grey colour on the lid, I've seen the KS decals and know they are too light., folk have changed them out in the past. Post a non flash picture and il put it to the others, but for me for a sake of the small amount a sticker kit costs I'd look at changing. Did you ever have a go at your glove cuffs, and thinning them down?

4505Marcel
You need to paint the rivets white on your knees, and make sure the drop box straps at the rear go behind the belt
Chex
Yeah I've inspected the helmet personally and seeing as I built it, it should be good. Just follow the rest of what Marcel and Chef said and you should be golden.
