It all starts here. Taken some time to gather my resources and just about ready to get my build on. Not much good at sewing so I was thinking of gluing everything.

 

 

Can't seem to get the pictures the right size

 

Question - concerns re the hook velcro for my armour not sticking. I got the sew on stuff so I tried using glue. Even the trusted E6000 didn't provide a great bond. Any suggestions.

I got some adhesive "industrial strength" velcro from EBay and there was no issue in getting it to stick to the plastic. Might want to clean off the plastic with some rubbing alcohol first. If you use E-6000 then you have to sand a bit first so the glue has something to stick on. Plus, the E-6000 isn't so good on plastic that might bend a bit, it's not flexible.

 

I used the Ebay-seller "convertape". Search for VELCRO TAPE 50MM X 1M ADHESIVE HEAVY DUTY.

This stuff will stick to your fluffy velcro without any issues, I have mixed and matched 3 different types and it works fine.
