chimei
be careful, the bund is not grey. it should be white...and it should be a heavy weight cotton. CUMMERBUND White or lightly weathered. Made out of white matt heavy weight cotton fabric and closes in back with 50mm (2") velcro. Should sit from just under the chest armor down to the waist. There should be no gap between the belt and cummerbund. Has a tapered crotch with inverted curve sewn in detail, made from the same material and sits between the legs and connects to the back of the cummerbund by a 50mm (2") black elastic strap. Has 6 or 7 vertical stitch lines producing 5 or 6 raised ribs (troopers choice) of equal width stitched into the front between where two fabric pouches are connected. Pouches may be white or off-white. here is the full CRL for the scout trooper: http://forum.bikerscout.net/index.php?showtopic=9143

That's why he's in the Kashyyyk Scout Soft Armor category. (oops... ) ( **Edit** I didn't know that LadySewForUs stopped making these. I just read the other posting. Oops on my part! ) If you are looking to do it yourself, check the Kashyyyk Trooper CRL's, different pictures of the cummerbund, and other people's builds, to see what the end result will look like. For mine, I used a medium to dark grey suedecloth material. I think a heavier material would be just as good. For the straps, I used grey nylon straps that I got from the fabric store. I believe they are either 1" or 1 1/2" in size. They will all come out slightly different, with the different people making them.
chilledmilk
iv found someone refering to twill and tackle twill as materials to use to make the stripes on cummer, if i sew it right, where the tackle twill is under the other strips of the twill it will look like the under (possibly darker) tackle twill is one continuous peice, i was thinking twill/tackle twill becuase somenoe mentioned it and that twill is rigid to a point, and has same texture as reference pictures, and tackle twill is almost similar but its is elastic. not to sound off but then it would make kinda a corset effect where is would look like reference pic and be strechy and able to move in, i would use either 2" or 1.5" twill then a 1.5"tackle twill, alternating till correct size, so when looked at the overall stripes would be either 2"-1"-2"-1" or 1.5"-1"1.5"-1". becuase of overlap needed to sew. Heatshock
I would refer back to LSFU piccies - http://forum.bikerscout.net/index.php?showtopic=7645 I cant rememeber the exact measurements - but the 2-1-2-1 is now not correct, they are closer together in the front

chilledmilk
awsome, i think when i get the belt in i can make a better guestimate. seems 3 center up front kinda close, then 2 half way to ur exact side, then one on ur side seam, then maybe it repeats across the back?
