Greetings all! I finally got some time to begin working on my TB stuff. First up, I figured I would start of with something easy. Pouches! I got the dimensions from Batninja's build thread (Thank you) and took it from there.

First off, I made a 1:1 pattern on grid paper with seam allowances.

I also made a separate pattern for the flap for attaching the pouch to the underside of the chest armor.

I used my handy dandy rotary wheel cutter to cut out two layers of the duck cloth. I made it out of two layers so it would have a better look and hold its shape better.

I sewed the two pieces together, turned them right side out and top stitched it. Then I sewed on the Velcro tabs and back flap. And lastly, sewed up the sides.

Voila!

Comments, suggestions and critiques are very welcome. Let me know if you would like any other views. I plan on drafting a pattern for the cummerbund tomorrow.

Cheers!

The shape is good, apart from there shouldnt be any external stitching visable bro. The stitching is supposed to be hidden inside ;)

I added the top stitching for durability since the entire thing is two layers of duck cloth. I'll make the next one without it.

I made my second one to Lancer specs with no exposed stitching. It is on the left.

And here is a shot of it open.

Ohhh I like the grid paper, is that seemless or did you tape several sheets together?

I made it on my computer and taped them together.
