4505Marcel Posted February 14, 2015 Author Posted February 14, 2015 Does your barrel taper towards the flash hider? The MG looks like it's the same width as the body for about 12cm/4inches then starts to taper down. It's hard to tell in your pictures if you did that or kept it the same width/height for the whole length. Keeping it flat would be easier than getting that angle symmetrical on two vac-form molds. I didn't taper mine no, I don't believe it does taper to be honest
oh58mech Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 Hi, I've actually been talking to a garrison member. He's hopefully going to have a go at molding my rifle, so hopefully can supply you guys with a copy I'm sure you'd find plenty of willing buyers. +1 here.
thisiskevin Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 Hi Marcel! I'm just wondering if you're willing to share the measurements of the rifle? I'm thinking of making my own as well and it would help greatly if you can share some of the information Thank you so much!
thisiskevin Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 Sweet! Thanks a lot mate, really looking forward to it! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
thisiskevin Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 Btw can i please use the photos you posted for a reference for my build? Going to try to make one with approximate measurements
netslave Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 Marcel, how did you attach the barrel to the body of the rifle?
4505Marcel Posted May 19, 2015 Author Posted May 19, 2015 Mine slips inside, then I have a bolt under the scope that winds in to secure it through a hole
netslave Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 Nice. Makes a lot of sense. Have you added electronics to it? I missed it in the thread if you have. Just trying to wrap my head around everything in prep for my build.
4505Marcel Posted May 20, 2015 Author Posted May 20, 2015 I have the micro switch mounted into the trigger, but didn't go any further as it is my plan to mold mine and offer out copies
chillywill22 Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 Its looking really nice. Hope to see some pics soon of the full product
4505Marcel Posted January 13, 2017 Author Posted January 13, 2017 Finished picture is on page 4 post #70 Probably going to sell this on rather than mold now, haven't got the time to do it
