Helmet Size

Hi Guys,

 

So im new to the 501st and am in the process of purchasing my first armor. I decided to go with the TB set because A) I think it looks cooler B ) I was concerned with field of vision in the TX/TK verisons. My question is which helmet should I get. My head demision at the temple is 22 1/2 inches (circumference). The forums indicate the that KS runs smaller than the SC. I don't wear contacts or glasses so that would not be an issue. However, I am unsure of what all goes inside the helmet that I might want to consider room for.

Good news the helmets require no electronics unless you really want it. You should consider padding though. I'm personally going with SC once I have the rest of my armor finished. Have you contacted SC yet to ask about thirty bucket?

Actually, it's the other way around. The SC bucket runs smaller than the KS. SC is (apparently) in the same range as an MLC lid.

What do you mean by thirty bucket?

I have an MLC and altmanns and my head is 23" the MLC is a tighter fit than the Altmanns, but is the one I wear.

AH okay, After talking to alot of people, most are recommending the SC bucket, so think ill go with that.
