Guest BS1 Posted September 21, 2012 Posted September 21, 2012 Can anyone post a few pics of different variations of shoulder straps. Tryin to decide how I should cover the gap between front n back chest plate...
4505Marcel Posted September 21, 2012 Posted September 21, 2012 I dont have any pics of my set up but my straps look like a capital T if you like. I have a popper mounted on both sides of my armour, The sort of the short sides of the T if you like is made of 25mm black webbing, on each end of the webbing is the opsosite popper and these clip into my armour. Coming from the webbing is then a 50 sewn tube of the right cotton fabric seen on the bridges, I then sort of wrap around the gap, covering it. Then extended from this 50mm piece of fabric I then have anouther short length of black webbing which my shoulder bell hangs on. Once fitted all you can see is the fabric covering the gap of the armour
Griffin-X Posted September 21, 2012 Posted September 21, 2012 For mine, I have the 2" nylon wrapped around the join and then a "T" velcro strap on the underside. Imagine a "T" shaped piece of velcro that attaches underneath the chest/back armor.
Guest BS1 Posted September 21, 2012 Posted September 21, 2012 That looks good!!!!! A picture's worth a thousand words.. lol I can understand that.....
Pandatrooper Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 Here's how I did mine. http://forum.bikerscout.net/index.php?showtopic=9781&st=20
Guest BS1 Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 Thanks!!!!!! I like that method opposed to the wrap a round with shoulder bell velcro attached to the end of strap. If ya know what I mean....
