  1. Grab yourself a pair of Red Kap coveralls off of Amazon if you have a good idea what size you wear. They essentially follow the same sizing as whatever jacket you wear. And like our fearless leader said, you can buy the thin pig suede at Tandy Leather.
  2. Don't be tough on yourself. We all come in different shapes and sizes, my friend. This is about having fun! And believe me when I tell you that getting suited up is NEVER an easy thing. That's why handlers are so important at troops. You're looking great. My only comment is that the cod piece generally goes under the cummerbund and attached to the vest or the undersuit. I think you have yours attached to the cummerbund, if I'm not mistaken.
  3. The upgraded TD caps have arrived [emoji6] Sent from my SM-G990U2 using Tapatalk
  4. Looking very good! I had some of the same issues with the snout paint. I ended up gently scrapping some off with a toothpick, lol. When you put the sticker vents on the bottom left back of the bucket, watch Kropserkel's helmet video first. He has a great suggestion on how to do the application.
  5. Thank you, and my apologies for asking an already answered question!
  6. I thought I would post this question here and not in the official Lancer review thread. I know that I need to upgrade my helmet before I can submit. However, I constructed my suit with Lancer requirements in mind. Is it possible to get a review of my current status so I know what else needs to be completed, or should I just wait until I replace the bucket? Thanks in advance!
  7. I'll have to go dirty at some point [emoji16] Sent from my SM-G990U2 using Tapatalk
  8. Getting ready for my first troop as a Scout next weekend, and I remember all too well how important it is to practice suiting up to see what goes wrong, lol. I've been working on securing things, adding a magnet to the blaster, etc. I also tried the old scuba diver trick of using liquid dish soap on the visor and buffing it out with a microfiber cloth to help prevent fogging. Well, the t-shape on the right bicep fell off, so that got a dose of e6000 and is drying. The fog was still an issue until I removed the bulky chin cup I was using. When I took it out, no more fogging. I'm going to velcro in a plain elastic strap to help stabilize the bucket. Finally, the cummerbund is riding up on me. I was using velcro to secure it to the chest, but I'm going to loosen that up before next week. Always do a shakedown cruise and ALWAYS pack a repair kit [emoji6]. 11. Well, I quickly learned that my cutting and sewing skills are not as sharp as my math skills, lol. I ended up having to pick up a bit more material and making the end pieces a bit larger. But it's all coming together. Let me know your thoughts. Sent from my SM-G990U2 using Tapatalk
