I have only been on 6 troops with my ROTJ Scout and I was worried about fogging up and being too hot. After reading into fans for the helmet and talking to fellow Pathfinders in my garrison, I decided to go fan-less and realised what others have mentioned above. I wear my balaclava so that my mouth and nose isn’t covered and I try to breathe through my nose as much as possible. I learnt this very quickly on the first long troop.

I have a back up for the strapping (found some in spotlight), so I am hoping to get that done this weekend if possible. Yes I will attach the bun this weekend as well. Is it best to attach it to the vest?

Thanks, yeh I have reached out to Chris. Now I just need to work out how to remove the elastic glued to the inside of the belt and to unpick the stitching around the elastic to attach the cotton. I will post the pics here now that I have worked out how. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hello everyone. I have been studying this forum for some time now, and feel I am finally ready to post here. I have purchased my helmet and armour, which should hopefully be with me soon. After thinking I could have a go at all the soft parts, I have made some enquiries and decided to purchase the soft parts for my first build. I have received my gloves and everything else is on the way. I look forward to sharing my progress and anticipate many adjustments after my recent trip overseas. I am currently working on removing the clips from the gloves and sourcing the EC-17.
