  1. Oh I definitely agree that nothing beats the molds. But being a little short for a stormtrooper (thanks Leia) makes the 3d printing a good option for me to get a more scaled armor and the ability to make some things in the event something breaks.
  2. Hey the best is what I'm looking for outside of vacuum-formed! I know nothing will beat going that route, but I might as well make use of the printers I have. Pretty much every set I've seen for printing has some elements that are good and some that are lacking, all of the chest plates I've come across don't have any beveling on the edges or just seem oddly shaped.
  3. Hey everyone, I've been on the hunt for a while to get some 501st approved files for 3d printing. I made the whole set from files I purchased and they look wonderful, but I'd like to get a more movie accurate chest/back/tank. Everything else I've made (save for maybe biceps) appears to be good to go, even my chest is probably passable but I'd really like to get as close as possible to the films.
